Belgrade Historical & Heritage Tour
Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe. This “white city” is the only capital built at the confluence of two big rivers, the Danube and the Sava. This tour will take you throughout the historical center of Belgrade and includes boat cruise on the Sava and Danube river.
We start tour from Republic Square which is the central town squares, located in the Stari Grad municipality. It is the site of some of Belgrade's most recognizable public buildings, including the National Museum, the National Theatre and the statue of Prince Michael.
Skadarlija street is bohemian part of the city, filled with restaurants and taverns with live traditional music.
Knez Mihailova street is main pedestrian and shopping zone in Belgrade. It is one of the oldest and most important monumental urban environments and cultural heritage.
The Residence of Princess Ljubica
The Residence of Princess Ljubica is one of a few buildings which had survived from the first reign of Prince Miloš Obrenović. It was built between 1829 and 1831.
Kalemegdan Fortress overlooking the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. It served to guard the border between the Roman Empire and barbarian lands across the Danube and the border between the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian Empire. Within the Kalemegdan fortress there is Military Museum and the Church of the Holly Mother of God, better known as Ružica (Little rose).
